01 / ABOUT THE PLACE

About this place

From dusk into the evening, parfaits arrive in elegant, slender glasses, layering seasonal fruit, gelato and fragrant jelly. At インクスカフェ in Minato, Chuo City, the parfaits pair eye-catching presentation with carefully considered shifts in texture and flavour, and can be enjoyed with a pairing drink. One seasonal version layers tangy-sweet mango with rice pudding and chewy, coconut-flavoured warabi mochi, then finishes with refreshing jelly. Another, available year-round, brings together tea whipped cream and tart berries. Each spoonful reveals a new combination.

From an easy lunch to dinner with wine

There is more here than sweets for café time: the menu also offers satisfying meals. At lunchtime, choices include classic Napolitan pasta served with salad and pizza, as well as weekday-only peperoncino and keema curry—convenient options for a meal in the neighbourhood. In the evening, there are two kinds of arancini, flavoured with tomato and porcini, roast Miyazaki black wagyu beef round, and Margherita pizza topped with prosciutto—dishes to savour at an unhurried pace with beer or wine.

A dog-friendly space to relax alongside your companion

The interior is bright and uncluttered, with a calm feel. A particular appeal is that dogs can join you indoors. Tables are comfortably spaced, and there is a dedicated menu for dogs, including Hanamidori chicken tenderloin and colourful steamed vegetables with soy milk and tomato sauce. Birthday plates are also available. Whether stopping in between walks or sharing a meal with family and friends, it is a place to spend relaxed time together.
